  • Friends, for what it's worth I have the HS8 and didn't really see the need to get the sub, the bass output was already good enough. My understanding is these suit the hs7 better.

  • So there's XLR input and output. If I have speakers with XLR that go into a DAC, what's the correct way to add this into the set up? Speakers > Sub in > Subwoofer > Sub out > DAC?

      Friend, the hs8s has l/r input/output. output of dac into hs8s. output of hs8s into speakers. reason it works fine is bass/subwoofers arent directional.

      • I'm using a set of LSR305 with a very old JBL PB10 subwoofer that I found. I just need an excuse to buy this $400 sub. I don't think my wife would be very happy…
