  • I don't think this kit comes with demo modules only ram sticks

  • These are hynix CJR if that matters for anyone , the limited edition are Samsung B die

Also be wary that the Aorus RGB software (RGB Fusion) is absolute and utter trash and doesn't work most of the time.

    • Interesting.

Mine’s fine but to be fair all I did was install it, set the motherboard and (Corsair) RAM LEDs to match the “GeForce” green on my 980Ti and then never touch it again. It’s never reset itself or done anything weird but then again it’s not like I’m using it every day.

You can get same specced Corsair Vengeance RGB ram for $149 through Amazon, with free shipping through prime. Would definitely recommend this over Gigabyte ram

    • Friend, g.skill with slightly larger heatspreadr is on special right now as well for $106.70.

Yeah, depends if you want better specs, or decent specs and shiny aesthetics I guess

      • Where? Please thx

  • gigabyte started making RAM?

    when did this happen

  • I've got practically everything aorus rig. Mobo, CPU cooling, GPU, Case, Mouse / Pad, Keyboard and headset.

Was looking at Aorus NVME drive and ram. I might bite the bullet pay day this thursday.

Yes there are better spec ram out there. But its decent enough. Although no dummy sticks.

i'd be with you if you picked like Asus Maximus or somesuch,
but Aorus? what the fk is aorus anyway?

could you pick anything lamer than that? ha ha

so many cool brands like and you pick this.
my eyes hurt from rolling so much

@Nilfunds: Let me get this straight, you're saying I'm lame because I don't like the things you like.

I'm glad your eyes are hurting.

this is the one i bought a few weeks ago for my Aorus setup
      https://www.i-tech.com.au/gigabyte-aorus-rgb-memory-16gb-kit…

has the demo modules , looks good with my gaming 7 motherboard

as for the memory modules hynix CJR has got very good comments online , some saying it is even the new Samsung B Die

  • Purchased these last year to match my MB. As above the rgb software is very average, reguarly drops off colour choices.
