I have always loved this album and recently got myself a Linn Sondek LP12 and treating myself to records I will listen to all the way through (think DSOTM, Wish you were here, Bon iver, Angus and Julia Stone, Clapton MTV unplugged etc)

Came across this, ripper price if you have Prime. Says only three in stock but I have always been able to back order on these type of deals.

Vinyl Details: 12 black vinyl in a gatefold jacket (1 pocket), Includes a download card for the entire album along wiith several bonus remixes by Odd Future, My Morning Jacket, TV on the Radio.

  Beware the dodgy Amazon LPs. Lots of bad reviews on the quality of them.

    Those reviews are from amazon.com - they are based on products sold by both amazon and marketplace sellers. You need to dig into them to work out which are relevant and which not. I have had quite a few good quality LPs but also quite a few with scratches/damaged covers, etc… - all damaged LPs have been refunded in full.

  Yeah it's Amazon's refund policy that has me chance it everytime. As long as they are the seller I'll buy.

    Oh I didn’t realise it was that simple with their refund policy. I just risked it and bought at the higher price

    It's not their refund policy. You will always get a refund but you won't always get to keep. Sometimes they will make an exception. Just keep in mind that they track the number of exceptions per account (and across multiple accounts if in the same household) and can issue a warning if you exploit them.

  Just checked a few of their tracks on Tidal. Looks like I'll enjoy this LP! Thanks for the intro to a new (to me) artist. From the Tidal artist bio:

  …..English indie rockers alt-J, named for the delta symbol that appears when pressing "Alt" and "J" on a Mac keyboard, first formed in 2008 under the moniker FILMS. The quartet members, all of whom met at Leeds University, spent two years rehearsing before inking a deal with Infectious Records in 2011. Their signature blend of layered, folk-inflected dub-pop and soaring alternative rock was first heard on the 2012 singles "Matilda" and "Fitzpleasure" with the group's full-length studio debut, An Awesome Wave, arriving later that year. The album would eventually go on to earn the prestigious Mercury Prize, alongside three Brit Award nominations. They soon became mainstays on the U.K. and European festival circuit expanding outward with tours in the U.S. and Australia as well. The band's increasing success and heavy touring schedule eventually led to the amicable departure of bassist Gwil Sainsbury at the end of 2013. The remaining trio of singer/guitarist Joe Newman, keyboardist Gus Unger-Hamilton, and drummer Thom Green continued undeterred and their sophomore record, This Is All Yours, was issued in the autumn of 2014.
