Where can I find carnivorous plants near the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne? I'm specifically looking for Butterwort (Pinguicula gigantea) or Sundews (Dorsera adelae or Dorsera Capensis).

Their website is so bad but try emailing them they go to markets and have stockists
We've found the MSY ex-website designer's next project.
Collectors Corner in Keysborough.
Are they good at keeping peats at bay? Just curious.
Peat is the type of acidic soil venus flytraps and other carnivorous plants need, but if you mean pests, pitcher plants are extremely effective. Venus flytraps do work but not at a level that would make a difference, and caterpillars quite like to eat them. Sundews catch tiny flying insects but not really the pest types.
I too like Carnivorous plants.
I have been able to source Pitcher plants, Venus fly traps and Sundews @ Bunnings (but I'm in Perth).
The Sundews are the most hardy to date.
The Fly traps and Pitcher plants have died but I did my best to keep them moist with peat etc. The Perth summer is too much, but Sundews are tough.
