  • Nice price. I am curious, do people use this with every wash or just when stains are present?

If stains, do you pre-soak or not for best results?

  • Thanks - Amazon haven't matched price just yet.. but surely won't be long;)

We've been discussing stain removers in Amazon Sard deal
Choice review ranks this @71% (same as that Ward) & expensive at full price.
    900g gives 900 washes = 1g/wash

    For 2.7kg, that's 2700 washes for $15 = 56c/wash

Best value stain remover with almost top score:
    COLES ULTRA PREWASH STAIN REMOVER
    78% @26c/wash ($1.30 for 500 washes)

Personal experience & use may differ to Choice panel.

      1 gram a wash?

        [CORRECTION]
Oops read wrong column in spreadsheet on mobile. Added quickly & was rechecking when you replied. Thought that was far too light & ridiculously high number of washes per containerđŸ˜±

Same per wash cost, just stuffed up decimal places when adding details!

        100g/wash
($10.99 900g container averages $1.22/wash or 9 washes per container)

        2.7kg produces 27 washes for $15…
        55c/wash

More expensive than home brand with higher Choice scores.

        • Who seriously puts this in every wash. Soak the few things that need it. That's all you need to do. I'm speaking as a stay at home dad with kids (one still in a high chair)

          • @justtoreply: Who said you should.
It's just a way of comparing products on price & performance used by Choice - using the manufacture's recommended quantity.

It's just a handy means of comparison between products for consumers, like $/100g for food etc.

Wash size & stains differ. It's up to you how you use it!

Same ingredients as Home Brands products at bigger price

Got some good results adding a small amount to the general liquid and fabric softener - especially after I spilled my coffee on my white jeans. Came out like new!

I’ve been eagerly waiting on Coles/Woolies to come out with a half price on the 900g (I think that’s the size), but this is even better! Will stock up and buy 3-4. Thanks OP!

  • my missus has been throwing this stuff into our LG front loader as simple detergent, just a bit less hundreds of times and the washer has never suffered, but recently she uses also a fit of softener and no complaints.
