I bought the Antrim but the cushion got flat real quick and within a few months was more uncomfortable to sit on that a wooden chair.

If you're getting a chair you're going to be sitting on for a long time, I recommend saving for it - it'll save you a lot of trouble down the line.

    • Thanks. Will pass then.

    • what about buro metro ?

      • Great chair with very thick layers of foam for 16 hour a day use every day.

      • That's like at least $200, a fine chair but not really the same class as these.

Chair, Mattress, Pillow, Comforter, Couch.. things you should never cheap out on because they have the ability to affect you physiologically.

    • I got them for my kids who weigh 20kgs. So hopefully they'll last a few years.

      • Good luck to that, the back strip torn and break easily, my kids hate these chairs, better pick a thicker seat pad one.

    • Can confirm, bought a 2nd Hand Herman Miller and it's a huge difference.

    Student Chair

I know students need to make money some how, but using them as a chair seems pretty demeaning for them, and uncomfortable for the person sitting on them.

  • What makes a "student" chair different from a normal chair?

      It’s cheap and shit normally.

Yeah i just looked at the red one, max weight 80kg haha, maybe it should be referred to as a childs school chair, as a 6 foot 100kg uni student, i don't think this "student" chair is for me :P

    • cheap like a six pack of coles mi-goreng

We had heaps of these at work, i know the price is cheap but they are really uncomfortable

    • Sounds like it mate, they want to torture whoever work there and after 1 hour of meeting you can hear the "cracking"…

  • i use a wooden kitchen chair because i haven't found an office chair under $500 that is decent to sit on for extended periods of time
