Bought optimum nutrition vanilla ice cream and it is nauseating, just the smell of it makes me want to puke… So, are there anyways to try different flavours and brands in a cost effective manner (e.g. tasting kits)?
Protein: How to Try Different Flavours?
Comments
If you go to a brick and mortar nutrition/supplement store the staff are usually happy to give out free samples of products if they know your looking to make a purchase (YMMV). They can also give you advice having tried most of the supplements they sell (YMMV) and let you know what are the better flavors.
If for example Whey Protein companies allowed me to purchase a one serving packet of every type of flavor they have for like $10 I would so be down for that.
As above, a lot of stores will give out samples if you ask, especially if the brand is exclusive. I love the titan mint chocolate protip
Bulk Nutrients have samples.
I'd also suggest reading reviews.
Also a lot of brands have single servings they sell. Thanks guys!
Both Bulk Nutrients and True Protein have "travel packs" you can buy. This is another good way to try various flavours without buying big amounts, eg:
7 pack of mixed WPC flavours $10.50:

https://www.trueprotein.com.au/shop/wpc-sample-box/Pretty sure both also do WPI and other protein types too.
I usually buy these for overseas trips
Sometimes supplement stores do product tastings in gyms ( usually 24-hour gyms) for free so you can take advantage of that but they usually only showcase 3 products.
Just have to roll the dice and do some research, most sites have a page where you can request a sample. If you want to try multiple, use your home address, work address & parcel locker which then gets directed to your home address by Auspost.
