  The ability to not charge at 2A x1 or 1A x2 is a bit dumb.

    I partially agree. Charging 1 cell at 1A is still acceptable, but 2 cells below 1A is is a bit slow. I have a La Crosse BC700, Xtar VC4 and a Liitokala lii 500. I find the VC4 would struggle to charge 2 cells at 1A (using slots 1 ans 4) without a good USB wall charger

      My LiitoKala 402 charges 4 cells at 500mA or 2 at 1A just fine from my portable power bank.
