Beats the Computer Alliance deal I got on these a few weeks back. Obviously RGB needs to be your thing as the non RGB CL16 3200's are much cheaper…

Expired deal with non RGB - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 XMP 2.0 Black $112.62 + Delivery (Free With Prime) @ Amazon US via AU

Ah man, even cheaper than the 3000MHz kit i got a month or two ago. Good deal though for those (such as myself) who feel they need to fill voids in their life with addressable RGB.

    • I paid $123 for 16Gb's of 3000Mhz CL16 RGB Team Delta from ebay.
      works great at 1.35v 3000Mhz with my 3700X :)

Gskill trident RGB 3000Mhz failed at 3.5v but those were a few years before zen1 came out and intel xmp optimized

      • Have you tried oc'ing the ram?

Not yet.. read a few reviews and they all got it to 3400Mhz at stock 1.35v voltage with XMP profile 16-18-18-38 :)
I think i may bump it up to 3200Mhz and call it a day. 3000, 3200 and 3600 are all pretty similar on Ryzen 3700X going by reviews.

The big jump in performance is going from DDR4 2133, 2400, 2600, 2800 to the 3000, 3200 and 3600 with 3600 being the best option

NOT ALL Sticks can go past 3000Mhz .. after reading newegg user reviews.

Guess if you 'need' RGB, but the current Computer Alliance price is cheaper $149 ($144.53 PICKLE discount):

  • Bought these for $230 a few months back. Corsair’s iCue app is quite good for controls for RGB patterns.

While it’s compatible with Gigabyte’s Fusion 2.0 app, I’ve had issues with the lighting getting out of sync with the rest of the RGB’s. This is most likely an issue with the RGB Fusion app, but something to keep in mind if you want to do colour shift through all of your components.

I have 16GB of this ram already, so if I get 2 more sticks would it effect performance?

I saw it is better to have 2 sticks instead of 4?

Look I posted this because I am exactly in the same position. I'm going for a x570 and 3900x build and am not sure whether grabbing 2 more will be worth it..

So yeah I'm trying to find this out as well… Ram oracles of OZB?

This was helpful to know the Ryzen Gen 3 Sweetspot

But still doesn't really make it clear whether 32gib across 4 DIMMS is worth it.

well… you get more lights for sure

  • Awesome thanks OP bought

  • Did anybody in melb south-east want the non-rgb version for 112.62 new unopened? Impulse bought the other day but not actually looking to build a PC right now.

  • For 3000 series CPU's AMD recommends 3200 CL14 or 3600 CL16, these timings can only be achieved by Samsung B die at the speeds.

This one isnt Samsung B die.

  • I've got these exact two and am waiting for another pair, except in white, which is sadly $40 more expensive. Guess I'll keep on waiting.

  • Was about to order this but lucky I checked my CPU cooler is blocking the spare Ram slot :(

  • These or the "16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz C15" variant for Ryzen 3000 series?

  • I know this is old and pricing has gone up but at current pricing (7/8/19) of $163 for this set of 2x8gb 3200mhz RGB Pro - Black, is it still a good deal?
