    Haha the Ivory colour certainly isn't for everyone. I personally don't mind it, but the black appeals to me more.

  Could shell out and grab the hd58X from massdrop at a similar price.

    That's always an option too, however the HD58X work out to be around ~$250AUD (not including 10% GST) so there's quite a significant difference there.

    A bit more, but the HD58X are a real step up in build and sound quality. Made in Ireland too. Just make sure your device can handle the additional impedance.
