Soft sounds right for Gilette
How about the handle? I like fusion power, even if that's a placebo effect
I wouldn't care if these lasted five times longer, I would still buy something else!
Gillette sales are falling and people are exploring alternatives, I would have kept using Mach 3 Turbo's for the rest of my life if Gillette hadn't been so stupid.
What do you buy?
I'm probably going to go with double edged razors when I use up my stocks of Gillette. If not it'll be a German made 3 or 4 blade razor from a smaller company.
I use RazorPit and my Fusion blades last months ;)
Have you tried sharpening your blades with a leather strop?
Thinking of using dollarshave club..
I'd use a blunt chisel before I used Gillette again! Dollarshave club still have good prices and you'll save a heap over using Gillette.
What's Gillet done wrong
Done back to back testing; myself, and 3 mates.
These last about 3 weeks, shaving daily, before you start to feel the blade.
Coles 5 blade lasts about 5 weeks.
More importantly, at week 5 the gillette HURTS.
At week 8, the coles is simply 'noticable'.
Tldr? Gillette certainly use some soft metals!
