  • I know that the Barefoot investor loves these (bought them for all of his staff) and recommends them in his book. I tried a latex pillow (not this one) and ended up with headaches and a stiff neck - all within two days of switching to the latex pillow. Pain and stiffness went away when I switched back to a normal pillow.

I found a number of similar reviews online for this pillow, so be mindful that these may not be for you (and you can't return them). Perhaps a single pack would be a good first purchase to try it out.

    • It takes approximately couple of weeks to get used to new Latex and memory foam pillows, during this time shouldn’t switch back and forth to your old pillows. Generally once you get used to Latex and memory foam pillows you won’t like using polyester or any other pillows cause of support and comfort these pillows provide and they retain their shape years to come. Agree with your comments If unsure a single pack would be a good first purchase to try it out.

I used mine for about two weeks solid - no switching back and forth. I ended up with severe headaches, and could barely turn my head. Disappeared the day after I stopped using the latex pillow.

Note: It was NOT a Dunlopillo, and was bought as a gift, so there are plenty of scenarios that may have allowed me to buy one for myself that fit my needs better. I think I'd want to check in store to test it out first.

        • You spent two weeks using it, then it was fine the day after not using it. This doesn't sound like a physiological problem. Physiological pain takes more than a day to fix.

Sounds a heck of a lot like correlation, if not causation, to me.

I had to use the latex pillow recently, about a year after my first experience. After only two nights, I started to get those pains and stiff neck again (which I'd forgotten about). Ditched the pillow, and pain disappeared.

But perhaps it was just a case of me, and all of the others on productreview with similar complaints, imagining things.

I'm not saying that these are no good for everyone. There are more five star reviews for it than 1 star. I was just sharing that it's not for everyone, so perhaps people should buy one to try it out first.

            • @t3chshopper: Pain is never imaginary, regardless of if it is caused by physiological reasons, or Psychological reasons. I'm not suggesting it is imaginary, regardless of your understanding of such things. I'm simply stating that Physiological pain will not disappear after one night, it doesn't work that way. Something is not adding up properly here.
