Looking for a Dupe for MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL Deep Repair Masque

Good morning :)

First of all, this mask is PURE MAGIC ! It makes my hair soft, shiny, silky smooth , bouncy and brings out my big , natural curls without any frizz in sight. I get complimented every time I use it and random people will often ask me if they can touch my hair, which is weird, but oddly flattering at the same time. This holy grail of a hair mask also cuts down drying time by up to 50% ,which means no more blow-drying for me! I couldn't love it more!

The only downside is that RRP is $32 for 240ml and I've never seen it on special. I have long, thick hair and one of those jars only lasts me a month. I used to buy it from woolies , just because it was convenient, and if I'm paying RRP anyway , might as well add it to the grocery list and get hubby to pay for it :b Unfortunately, they no longer stock this product at my local and I've just put my last jar in the recycle bin :(

So OZBargainers, how can I have good hair day every day for less? Have you seen the macadamia hair mask on special anywhere? I know priceline and ozhairandbeauty sell it for RRP or close to it. Does anyone have a discount code I could use? Or is there a dupe for this product that you could recommend?

Thank you,
Wiki, with her hair on fleek , but for how much longer?

P.s: YMMV with this product. A few friends have said it makes their hair lank and oily but others rave about it like I do.

LOL! That's exactly what I did before I even read your comment…and the cheaper one works out to be about $110 per litre. It may sounds like a lot but there's this little girl at my son's playgroup who's been telling everyone that when she grows up , she wants to have hair like mine. That's her one and only ambition in life. I'm a hair role model @Spackbace ; I can't let her down :P

Priceline frequently has 1/2 price hair care sales if you can wait it out for one of those.

Checking Price Hipster it doesn't look like these get discounted more than 30% or so

  • you can buy macadamia oil for cooking from woolworths & coles

have you tried other types of oil, coconut oil maybe?

    • Using coconut oil is what caused her hair to go slightly frizzy and made it more prone to breakage.

Edit: I'm not talking about myself in the third person:) My wife , Wiki, used my computer /ozb account to post this morning.

This product doesn't appear to be as readily available as it once was … not just at Woolworths but also at haircare supply stores.

There is the Macadamia Professional Nourishing Moisture Masque - good reviews online.

More readily available is Garnier Fructis Smoothing Macadamia Hair Food 390ml also with good reviews online

  • Slightly off-topic but does anyone know if there's any discount code for Oz Hair and beauty? The only one that is working is the REVIEW5 which is 5% off.
