CMIIW but this one doesn't have Fitbit Pay, yes?
I have heard only the Special Edition of the Charge 3 has Fitbit Pay, but their is a review on Amazon from someone who bought the Fitbit FB410RGGY-CJK Charge 3 Rose Gold/Blue Grey saying that it has this feature.
So yeah not entirely sure what is correct.
Yeah I have read similar things on multiple occasions as well that's why I asked the question, can anyone clarify?
This appears to be pretty solid clarification and why you pay more the Special Edition Charge 3:

Looks like you do not get Fitbit Pay with a standard Charge 3.
@hey aj: I have the standard Charge 3 and I have fitbit pay.

@cittris: Awesome! Thanks for the clarification, I just grabbed one.
Just an update, I used Cashrewards to purchase the Fitbit Charge 3 which cost me $134.00 AUD.
On the Amazon website the Charge 3 is categorized as Sports, Fitness & Outdoors › Sports Technology › Activity Trackers.
Now according to the Cashrewards website there is a 10% discount on Sports, Fitness & Outdoors so I assume this applies to the Charge 3… it would be also 10% if this was categorized as a Watch but I am not sure.
I just got the Cashrewards email stating the following:
Retailer Amazon Australia
Date of sale 15 Jul 2019
Sale value AUD 121.81 *
Expected Cashback AUD 4.26
Expected Approval 28 Sep 2019
*Sale value may not include delivery, taxes, surcharges, GST and other fees.
Wut?
Can someone explain this to me please as the Amazon Invoice does not have a breakdown of the item to $121.81 AUD… also 10% of this ammount is $12.18 so I am not of the understandings, send help.
If it cost $134 then I presume it's $121.81 because the GST of $134 is $12.18 (10% of $121.81) and Cashrewards doesn't count GST from my experience.
OK thanks for the clarification, that makes sense.
PSA Fitbit have now started trying to make people subscribe to a $125/ year subscription to see some of the data from the tracker, specifically your heartrate overnight, or how restless you are. The just rolled out an update a few days ago with the new paywall where the stats used to be available.
Here's the forum post discussing it:

TL;DR do not update your app to 3.0 and keep it in 2.95, if anyone can post a link to the 2.95 APK here would be much appreciated.
Wow was just about to buy one - not anymore.
Got one thanks
