They usually do. It's not about the cost, it's about the experience. Sometimes ppl/children get tired of wearing the glasses for long and some do get a headache-like feeling.
I am fine with 3D though.

yeah I cannot watch the crappy TS and cam versions, dvdrip or nothing! I just wait for $8 student monday to watch the movie or get 2 tix for $19 with Optus rewards.

I haven't been to one of those cinemas yet, tbh. I know there's one close by, though. Better check it out.
you'll need to get the keychain thingamajig as well. And register for it online, but $8 is pretty cheap.
