  Sadly has one of the dumbest design flaws I've ever encountered: the rear screen blacks out completely when wearing polarised sungalasses. Usually this only happens when a camera is turned to portrait orientation.

  Means you can't shoot video without removing sunglasses every single time. Infuriating for what is essentially a daylight camera (slow aperture).

    Wear non Polarised glasses when you know you'll be shooting maybe? I have prescription Polarised glasses so more annoyed by it than you are, but regardless, annoying across the board so I just don't wear anything Polarised when shooting. Pretty common flaw across cameras and mobiles.

      Yeah I'm short-sighted and need prescription sunnies. I agree it's common enough but it's the first camera I've owned that does it in landscape orientation. After a month wandering around Europe for my hol's I was over it.

        Yeh, short sighted wouldn't help. I have an astigmatism so can make do, but I do feel your pain on the days I would forget about regular sunnies. It does get annoying. I remember reading that most tech companies put their screens at 45° to avoid the block out but there's still plenty that don't!
