I have a flight tomorrow and have the opportunity to offer a min. $265 + 5,000 to upgrade to Business class… do we think that if its successful I'll get the $50 back, given its over $250?
The terms don't exactly say these types of offers are not included (I assume as long its $250+ spend, and its transacted by QF it will pass?)

Only valid for flights that are within or depart from Australia, which are paid for in Australian Dollars.
Not valid for round-the-world flights, flights paid for via Qantas ticket offices or airport locations, and flights paid for via third parties such as travel agents, online aggregators or payment processors.
Please note that Card payment fees apply to purchases of eligible flights made at qantas.com using a credit/charge Card.
Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.

Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.

Hi, can any previous users confirm if this works with redeeming award flights with Qantas points and then paying the tax and surcharges (over $250)?
It does say no round the world flights but no mention of award tickets.

Not available on my Platinum Edge card. I don't usually book flights with my credit card though as LCC charge extra $$ for Amex. Potentially that's why many of us are not targeted with this offer.
