I own some of these exact socks bought for around $2 from AliExpress and I recognise most of them from AliExpress too.
So the only advantage of Groupon is speed of delivery?

Decent quality?
Value for money?Still going strong a year later and I would say they were worth it. Only negative being that the patterns often make the socks more stuff and difficult to take off or put on. Hit and miss though, some are great in all respects.
Also in regards to speed of delivery, they came about 2 weeks after ordering. I've been pleasantly surprised by AliExpress shipping times lately.
@EBC: Do you have a link to them on AliExpress?

That link for example has a couple that I own that are also in the Groupon set. Price is somewhat higher than I paid own though but still not bad if you want to actually choose which patterns you want. When I bought a bunch I just searched for socks and scrolled for a while.
@Grunef: Here are some that I have bought and have come reasonably good quality:

As a disadvantage, buying 20 at a time doesn't give you the flexibility to choose $20 designs you like.
As an advantage, they will have vetted the supplier so you get something decent - buying a random off Aliexpress sometimes you can have something turn up that is too small (these go to my wife).
Unfortunately I can't justify 20 new pairs at once, I don't have enough room in my draw, and already have about 25 pairs…
I bought the 20 pack for about $25 after discounts and cashback and I'm happy with them. I gave away a few with designs I didn't like. Of course I'd never pay $19.95 for them, but they are well packaged and could easily be the type flogged in gift shops for that RRP.
Yeah right.
