Hi, was in the market for a new shaver and whilst there are some keen deals on Brauns at the moment, decided to stay with a Philips rotary shaver. Amazon has two of the 9000 series models cheap at the moment - the 9111 for $229 and the 9211 for $236. The 9211 seems to be the more common (current??) model, and the next cheapest I found was Shaver Shop at $299. Most places are still up closer to the RRP of $399.
Seems to be good value if you want a rotary shaver and aren't interested in the cleaning base. If only the Prestige were a bit more reasonably priced!
If you want a cheap Philips, the S5050 can be had from Myer eBay for under $60 at the moment too (use PMYMY).

Good shaver. I bought a refurbished unit from the USA a couple of years ago ($50), just replaced the head ($60) and has been working perfectly since. Supposed to replace the heads regularly but I haven't felt the need to - blades still sharp.
