Does anyone have any insight into which Bluetooth chipset is the best? I'm looking to connect wireless headphones to my Windows 10 PC and it seems USB adapters/dongles are either CSR based (CSR8510) or the Broadcom based (BCM20702).
I've been using an Orico BTA-403 (CSR) for a few year without issue, but am wondering if I should give Broadcom a go.
I need to get a second one and noticed that the later Orico adapter (BTA-408) uses a Broadcom chip. I thought this was because CSR no longer exists and perhaps Broadcom were supporting new devices better. However, the most recent Orico adapter (BTA-409) switched back to CSR - the same CSR chip model used in my old adapter. I wanted to put it out there for comments.
These true wireless headphones are gaining a lot in popularity.
CSR is Qualcomm.
Like for Like.
Why change if you don't have issues?
