Seems like a design flaw that the only way to reach the top platform is for the cat to literally jump from the floor - I wouldn’t call the tiny patches around the hiding spot, or the floor plate, platforms - meaning it’s not really multi platform at all. Price isn’t bad though - the RRP is a bit of a ripoff.
That top platform is fine, cats love scaling things. My mother has a similar one and her cats climb over it like little sharp clawed monkeys. From what I've seen of cat trees (not much) they are typically pretty expensive for what they're made of. Not sure why.
They are pricey yeah. Costco has a pretty good one going for $60 I think it is. Has two raised platforms, a hiding spot with platforms around it, and three scratch posts. My cat seems to like it.
At ~1m tall, ~$40 seems like
about the right Regular price, IMO
But - if it makes your Cat
happy - I guess it's an OK
price.
