I'm currently comparing variable P&I loans for an owner-occupied first home (offset desirable), and Freedom Lend's 3.04% rate is standing out (particularly with no fees for loans >$350,000). However, I'm not finding a whole lot of reviews, as opposed to Reduce Home Loan and Athena, for instance. Any experience/reviews?
I've had my owner occupied mortgage with them for about 3 years now. Like any internet only mob, it was a bit of a pain getting the loan setup in the first place but I've found them good. I wanted an offset account and could't find a better variable rate than theirs with a fee free offset. I contact them every now and again for a rate 'health check' and they are pretty obliging. The mortgage and offset account go to Origin MMS. It's a bit of a clunky operating internet banking site but it works. I recommend them.
