  • Ethernet port is interesting. However alternatives are ~$20 on Amazon, I got one with everything here except for Ethernet for $23 a few months ago. Sorry mate, just that I personally wouldn't pay $40 extra for Ethernet on my Macbook.

    • Could you please provide a link on the alternative? And how is the quality?
      I also don't need Ethernet port…
      Thanks

The one that I got is out of stock currently, what were you looking for? USB, HDMI and SD Card? This one is similar, has 2x USB ports, 1x HDMI and 1x SD Card.

        • Thanks for the link - it has decent review.
Would you recommend anything better under $30? Mainly USB-C with HDMI and at least 2 USB-3 ports will do

@Bappy: Just had a quick look for you mate, few alternatives: $23.99 I think this is the same brand I got a few months back, just a different model - has a HDMI port, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C port. That's the one I'd get if I didn't already have one. Alternatively if you don't need the USB-C and would prefer an extra 3.0 port then for five bucks more you can get this one for $29.99 on sale currently, comes with a HDMI port, 3 USB 3.0 ports, a SD Card and Micro SD Card reader and a USB-C port for charging only. However it is a little bigger. I'd go for the $23.99 one since I don't use SD Cards and it's also smaller and cheaper. Up to you mate!

            • @Zazer: Worth $20+ extra if you use it to charge, not great without pd

              • @uccoffee: Actually I disagree mate, I thought that initially but now I've got mine which has PD, however I charge directly using the other port on my MacBook since I don't use the other port for anything, plus if I use PD to charge using the adapter it gets very hot and charges slower. So doesn't make sense to have PD on the adapter unfortunately, wish I'd known that before buying :/

            • @Zazer: Thanks heaps

              • @Bappy: No problem, enjoy mate

$55.19 on your guys eBay store: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ugreen-USB-3-0-HUB-PD-Charger-US…

Love UGreen as a brand, but this isn't a deal (unless I'm missing something)

    • Wow, you're right! I guess it's an extra $7 for Prime shipping which I'd deem worthy, so I won't neg. But nice find!

      • Factor in the plethora of eBay coupons at any given time and I think it cancels out.

Negging because it's a company rep (and bc Amazon circlejerk hate)

    • ~$60.71 after you factor in GST since it delivered from Hong Kong (Still cheaper after factoring GST)

    • Can't see the bargain… good product, but not a deal.

Alternative on Amazon, $20 cheaper and has similar capability!

I would highly recommend this product. I've purchased over 100 of these units for where I work and they have been outstanding. It's saved us lots of money than having to buy all the Apple dongles we used to purchase.. USB-C to AV, to USB to Ethernet… Quality is outstanding. We trialled one unit for 6 months before we made the decision to stick with this product and it's been awesome. Our users are happy and they carry one small dongle now. The only thing some people might complain about is that the unit gets warm with heavy use but the same thing happened with Apple's USB-C to AV..

  • Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced USB C to hdmi (full 4k60fps) with power delivery pass-through?

The charging port on my xps 15 stopped working a month or so after I got my swelling battery swapped out as part of a recall, so I have to use my single USB C port for charging :(
