Apologies if I'm missing something, but why are all the reviews for a flashlight?

Lol a lot of double talk that says nothing.

      • +2

Just admit your shady practices and save us the BS.

Is it just me? I am always sceptical every time I read a message starts with "Hi friend"…..

        • No,some starts with "dear customer"… :)

    • +3

Because the images of Flashlight and travel adapter are combined in the same posting :)

And in that way, the customer can be misled by the rating of Flashlight.

      • thought the conversation was about fleshlight for a sec lol

It's a blackhat manipulation strategy commonly used by (predominantly Chinese) sellers to mislead the customer into thinking the product has a lot of good reviews. It is flagrantly violating the terms of use of selling on Amazon.

With this method they don't need to organically get reviews for their new product, which is a pain in the butt to do.
What they hope is that the product will be good, and the "legit" reviews will sit on top so later down the line no one will be any the wiser about the shady stuff that happened at the start.

It obviously works because it's so common that Amazon can't keep up with it.

Amazon will ban you for it if caught, but it's rampant and a game of cat and mouse. Even if you report a seller that is doing this it can take months for them to take action, if they do at all.

They do this to keep the ratings and reviews so you would think you're getting a great product as not many will bother clicking the review link.

      • It's a shame they have 4 more rating then the min to have the post nuked :(

100% positive over the past 12 months. (13 total ratings)

Best thing to do is find it cheaper on Aliexpress and Neg vote the post

        • Dear Nalar,$9 include freight is best price, you can try to find cheaper one :)

Looks like the 2 x USB ports deliver 5 volts @ 2.1 amps total (2.1 amps split across 2 ports if you use both at once). That would be be painfully slow for larger devices for travel purposes IMHO. When travelling I want to be able to juice up as quick as possible especially is trying to juice up 2 devices. But each to their own.

    • I have one with 4 USB ports and a USB c port, which is barely enough for two people in one hotel room.

Much easier to take a 4 or 6 plug power board overseas with your existing chargers and then only need to buy one power adapter.

These big blocky adapters usually suck and fall out of the socket. Better off usingthe smaller individual region ones.

  • I have had 2 of these already… they are good but if you sneeze at them the usb internals will fall apart… best to save up and get one of the sturdier ones….
