Found this on eBay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Coffee-Grinder-Cleaning-Tablets-…
Backstory: Since buying my Breville BES870 about 5 years ago, and with daily use, other than the very occasional dismantle and brush, I haven't really given it a 'proper' clean. I presume it is necessary.. Everything I've read said not to get the grinder wet.
So my question..
Do you clean your grinders?
If so, how?
Review on this product if you use this?
TIA!

I've used the caffetto grinder product and works well. Granted i think i've done it maybe twice in the 2-3 year period i've had this grinder.
Just give it a brush everysooften (as you are) and you are golden.
The only other time was after a batch of "oily" beans, which weren't great at all - so gave them a refresh with the caffetto.
Bare in mind you'll need to grind through a bit of coffee bean after that to get rid of the remnants of the cleaner.
Don't clean the grinder with anything other than a brush is what I was told years ago and that's worked for me.
Thanks for the replies.
Looks like brush it is!
A little scared about using ice cubes in my pride and joy though..
I rekcon its like a BBQ - never cleaned mine (years old).
That said, i reckon i did see saw something about running rice through it once upon a time…
