  • Harvey Norman was doing the 16GB one for $19, pretty fast stick for that cheap. I'm pretty sure though that Domayne is owned by HN.

    Still can't beat Staples 5x 4gb (20GB) for $5.50 delivered with $20 voucher

But only for the lucky few.

Pretty strange comparison, rather have a large capacity stick than many small ones. Unless you're all about GB per dollar.

      • It depends on what you normally copy. If you copy e.g. movies > 4G then you want more capacity. On the other hand if you thought you might keep 1 and give the other 4 as presents, then the Staples deal was great.

Got 16 GB Imation USB drive with 5 years warranty from Staples with one of those popular coupons.

    • 16Gb staples one cost ~$15 and is faster as well. $/GB ratio less than one. Here it's a little bit over.
Still good bargain for those wanting to spend no more than 10 quid

      • or no more than 6 & 1/2 quid at todays exchange rate :)

  • Got one 16GB stick today for $18 at my local Domayne, tested and it's pretty fast. The benchmark shows for files bigger than 64k or 128k, it writes at 15M and reads at 21M, and the speed is constant for any bigger file size.
Will go back to purchase another two tomorrow morning.

ps. The one I got has different looking from the one on catalogue. It's a Toshiba and showing TransMemory(TM) on the package, got an original price tag at $69.95. Don't know what speed the model on catalogue gets.

    • Which domayne did you get it from?

      • Warrawong NSW. But it's all gone yesterday afternoon.
