When Is a Good Time to Buy XB1X?

Missed out on the E3 sales.

Does anyone have any idea on when the next round of sales might come?

Alternatively, has anyone bought using 28D and claimed price protection on bundles later?

      Most of my digital library is on Xbox platform; but might get a PS4 in the future to catch up on the exclusives :)

microsoft did sort of announce at E3 that their new console (Project Scarlett) will be released "Holiday 2020", no idea when that is but sometime next year. given that besides the usual sales as mentioned above i reckon the price may start to drop over the next year as companies try to flog off their stock in preparation for new console.

you probs want one before that all starts happening though, but just a thought to keep in mind that the XB1X may become obsolute in less than 2 years.
