Has anyone noticed any issues with Kogan NBN over the last couple of days? I'm unable to use many of Microsoft services, e.g. teams.microsoft.com (which I can't even ping right now), also issues with Google Music, Google Home etc. As soon as I switch to a backup 4G connection, all the problems are gone.
Neither Kogan nor Vodafone NBN support sites mention any outages. I called Kogan support and they are not really helpful.
A friend on Telstra NBN doesn't have these issues. It appears, only international traffic is affected. Not being an NBN expert, I'm used to thinking that all major NBN ISPs still use their own routing for international traffic. Is this not the case? FWIW, the location is in Lindfield, NSW.
As of now, it appears they've resolved the issue. I also got a follow-up call from Kogan Internet support, so their support turned to be effective, after all.
Still very slow international speeds. Will probably be churning somewhere else soon.
Telstra and Superloop are pretty good.
I'm quite surprised Kogan is slow because don't they use Optus who have quite reasonable international peering.
What sites are loading slowly in particular?
Particularly, I have a Digital Ocean droplet in their SFO datacenter, access to which was very fast with AussieBB.
It is more like area issue and it is NBN issue,Kogan is just a retailer
