EOFY sale for Dewalt laser distance pack.
Normally $250 and its $200 now and 5% more for powerpass holders so bring it down to $190.
By the way, 100m laser still retail for $199 at moment.

This will survive a 2m drop onto concrete and has an IP65 water/debris resistance
Not only that it has a function called "tool connect" and it memorises the distances that you've measured and also let you make a note for distance on the photo of the actual site/product. You can also track it if it gets stolen.

  I have a bosch one.

  From compares I made with my work mates who bought their distance measure from China, there is only 1mm difference at the range of 20 meters.(all we need is 8 meters max at work site (9 level aged care))

  And the price is 5 to 8 times more expensive for a branded one.

    Yep. Got my 60m Suaoki from for $36 and it's fantastic.

    Plenty of even cheaper versions if you only need sub-20/30/40 metres…

      Any recommendations for a cheap plane laser? I am looking one that run all day without drain the batteries to fast. Use it as a baseline measurement.

        Most of the Chinese ones on ebay list no brand name and searching for my one from six months ago '60m Suaoki' yields no hits any more.

        Depending on what distance you need - they get more expensive for the longer ones - you should get plkenty of hits searching in ebay for "laser distance measure" but at the price you could do worse than try your luck with one of these;

          @UncleRico: What I was looking for is actually different from a distance laser looking for a 360 plane laser but thanks for having a look anyway!

            @UponOccasion: Maybe a 360 degree RP/LIDAR scanner, cheap scanners are available from $95-$135 to heaps more for 3d scanning.

  It's hard to find a cheap laser range finder that works well in bright, hot conditions at distances up to 50m.

  I grabbed this Xiaomi one for $20 this morning
  Been wanting one to measure room dimensions, fridge spaces etc recently, I think this is a 40m one.
