These rarely go on sale, I've been keeping an eye out for a while and even used MK3s go for about $750.

I'd love to see a DJ use this. These days all u mostly see is the MacBook with tractor linked to a standard deck with the same all show and no skill twiddling of nobs etc. You hear what sounds like a decent mix and then look at the DJ and he's busy msging on phone or chatting to some girl. The mix is either downloaded or pre-made at home on a pirated copy of the very old but very easy to use acid 7. To see some decent live mixing or someone actually use Ableton or FL studio to make a mix and post it….
Yeah, I reckon most bigger DJs use pre mixes these days. There's alot of talking at festivals, so I am curious to see how they go about it. I'm sure some live mix!
Plenty of artists play live for real.
Dub FX or Trickbox just 2 off the top of my head.
I guess I was meaning the local resident DJs at any night club or bar (esp in Australia). I've been in a few places overseas and they had the mirror panel above the DJ deck or cameras on it showing it up on a screen so you could see the live mixing which was absolutely amazing, and these were just the resident DJs, not some special guest artist.
Buy $679.20, Sell $750 - Profit?
After fees..no
Honestly I'd also consider a 2nd hand Maschine Studio. They're selling for around the $400-500 range these days on ebay.
They're a bigger form factor than the Mk3, and don't have a built in interface. However they're functionally the same.
I saw a couple on Facebook marketplace for a lot less than that.
These are good for live work? Decent price.
