I'm in the US at the moment and with the current exchange rate a lot of stuff seems more expensive here than it is at home. Is there anything worth looking out for - in particular, things which aren't available back home yet? I work in education, with a focus on technology, and am a photography geek. I'll be in New York for the next few days. Appreciate suggestions; I won't be back here for a while.

Go to an outlet and load up on $10 Tommy Hilfiger / Ralph t-shirts. The majority of the outlets have good bargains! If you're in New York, check out Century 21, they're having their big sales at the moment but even on a normal day it's cheap as chips!
