    Yes - it's designed to give you a lot more usable space. The benefit of MOVI is more like switching to an electric full-sized standing desk (but without hassles or assembling costs).

  Which Australian design experts are responsible for this and what awards have they received, was it for this work on this item or something different?

    MOVI was designed by Tricycle Developments in Melbourne who has won a number of Australian Good Design and International Red Dot Awards. There most notable work was developing Nuraphone. MOVI has also recently been awarded a very prestigious award too - but it is confidential and can't be announced until mid-July.

    Not sure what MegaDesk is sorry, but MOVI has a smaller footprint than the bench top, meaning it will fit on desks that are only 54cm deep (like an Ikea home office desk). Most desks are at least 60cm deep by 120cm wide, so MOVI will work on pretty much all office desks.

  So made in China? I am not against where product is manufactured but sometimes people are putting too much emphasis on Design and Engineering…

    We will cover the retun if the customer is based in a metro area, but if it is outside of metro then it is case by case depending on the location.

  "Desk" is a bit of stretch no? Suppose it could be a futon desk.

  Looks pretty good if you need a larger desk underneath, as most motorised desks are quite small (unless you shell a few k). Otherwise you could check out Ikea's motorised desk: https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/S39222552/ @ $429, it's a relatively new product I don't think many people are aware of.
