Kogan First - Has Anyone Successfully Received a Refund from Kogan First?

So I've just forgotten to cancel my Kogan First Membership after signing up for the 30 day trial about a month ago, didn't read the fine print and didn't realise until I got a nasty email saying I was billed 99 bucks for the membership. Completely my fault, happened with amazon too, but unlike Kogan, were more than happy to offer me my refund.

I opened up a support ticket asking for a refund and am yet to hear back, but I'm not very optimistic at this point.

Is there anything I can do right now to get my money back?

    No.2b says NO. (Sorry Kogan profit first, customer service second)

    I would sign up this kind of trial offer via a debit card with always low/zero fund on it.

  • You'd think it would be covered under the "Priority Customer Service". If it gets rejected, I'd definitely go back to them and stress that you're a member of Kogan First.

  • Kogan are generally not the type to keep the customer happy…

  • Do a credit card charge back is the only option but what will happen after Kogan found out is another story

  • Buddy, ozbargain 101 is to cancel automatic repayments as soon as you've finished setting up the trial! And if company won't let you do that, you set up calendar notification for 2 days before trial runs out so you can manually cancel it.
    Best of luck trying to get your refund. I know Amazon are very good like that, but honestly, I wouldn't expect it from Kogan.
