i would like to know why you would not be more specific(i.e. state, city, electrical retailer, etc. etc.) instead of posting a one-liner, thanks.

No idea. It’s near impossible to work out.
too many factors.. lets see if this will work.. my last bill's net payable amount is $60.46 (includes service charge & 25% discount). if i just divide it by UsageKwH which is 107 then it comes to 0.56
So probably its $0.56 per KwH
VIC - Lumo energyYeah nah that doesnt take into account your daily connection charge.
KwH in Metro Melb is like $0.17-$0.33 per KwH plus a daily charge somewhere around $0.80-$1.25.
OP is in Sydney, southern suburbs.

The correct response was

Is anyone from VIC with GloBird? Just saw a deal and was wondering if I should switch and get the $50?
useless question as rates vary dependin on area and usage.
look here
wattever.com.au
I was with Amaysim who were cheap until recently.
Now with Simply Energy AFL 10 Plan.
Worthwhile looking at Amaysim prepay energy.
I'm on the same plan as you in SA, just paid my first bill a week ago and received a price change letter. The price of my electricity will go up about $35 from next month. Chatted with a rep just then and told me the price gone up because of the introduction of the 'default market offer' the government just put in, that's effective from 1st July(yesterday). I could stay with the current plan to keep all the discounts with higher rates, or change to a plan that's on their website now, which is lower rates but less discount(about $70 higher). And that's all they can do for me. So frustrated now.
I got a price rise too and I haven't even had a bill yet /slaps forehead.
Simply Energy NSW Metro
Was $0.3077 less 10% pay on time & $0.8707 daily
Now $0.3288kwh less 10% pay on time and $10 credit on the bill every month and $50 off the first bill & $0.8943 daily charge The good thing appears to be that I am no longer on TOU.I haven't bothered to see how much difference it will make as it's still cheaper than what I was on. I'm guessing about $20.qtr for me
You aren't locked in so why not put your electricity usage details into Wattever and set up an alert for a cheaper deal?

Currently getting 26c per kw anytime, but planning to switch to the time of use rate. When I worked it out, you only have to have more than 60% of your usage in the offpeak times (between 11 and 7am throughout the week, and all day weekend) to come out ahead.
In winter at least. In summer its a different story.Just paid $141 for a quarter with Alinta Energy in Brisbane for a 3 person household. Have pool, ducted air con but gas hot water/stove. No solar. Damn gas was $180 and just got a letter from Origin that they are putting up prices!

Daily supply charge 82.12Thats brutal… I feel like SA's way of combatting the power shortages is to just increase cost, and not increase the infrastructure to accomodate for the demand..
That kW charge is literally double the price of Melbourne.. and I think Melbournes isn't great..should be a warning to all other states thinking of shutting down coal power stations. Lots of promises but prices go up
2person household my last electricity bill was $280 and i work away half the time… prices are a joke lol
Nothing.
But we bought a 5.8kW PVA 7 years ago and a 13.5kWH Tesla Powerwall 2 years ago.

+GSTPerhaps you should try www.energymadeeasy.gov.au
There you can have all the current offers of electricity available It is government website, so no commercial interest and unbiased, and electrical companies are compelled to put their offers there.
This is akin to asking 'How much are your council rates?'. While perhaps interesting in passing, you soon learn that the numbers depend on many variables some of which you can never satisfy. Usage in kWh, supply charge, distributor, solar, contract length, group affiliations…
