  Better deal than local pricing. However, I posted a deal from Amazon US a while back that was AUD$40.70 for the 72 pack including delivery.

    Wow! Great price. 36 pack probably a good start and decent pricing at this stage though would be great to have 72.

      Yeah, I couldn't help myself and scored that 72 pack at that price.

      Having said that, many people, including professional artists have complained about a deterioration in quality of Prismacolor pencils. It sounds like the usual story - move manufacturing offshore, cut quality to maintain a low price point, etc. A quick google will find that many people have jumped ship to other brands.

      I already had a set of (well regarded, high quality) Faber-Castell Polychromos, but picked up the 72 colour Prismacolor. They lay down their colour really nicely, and look great, but I haven't really used them enough to notice the quality issues.
