after all the price errors we have had in the last month or so on HD's …anything over $17/TB seems a rip.;)..good price btw

Were the price errors honoured?. If not then it's no deal and hence the higher price per megabyte still applies.

        • Wow lucky you!!

      • Yep I got 4TB WD delivered for $99 . Unreal price .

      • I got two 8tb, used my thirty buck coupon i got from failed 10TB with the order to make the total around $210 from memory

  • what is the biggest size portable hdd you can shuck to put in ps4?

i think these are the thicker 15mm ones…

    • Largest 2.5" hdd with 9.5mm is 2tb

is there any 4tb hdd from any other brands that is 9.5mm?

or is 4tb 9.5mm hdd only selling as bare drives?
and which brand has a 4tb 9.5mm thick bare hdd if it exists at all?

Sorry, I've fixed it up, added a full stop to mark the end of the sentence.

  • I have this model, so far no issues 1 and half a year in.

    • 1.5 years is like 400 years in computer time though, could be entirely different drives now.

Hi OP, do you have any 2TB deals? cheers

  • Will Officeworks price match

    • In theory they should, but it'll include shipping

  • Is the 5TB drive the same thickness as the 4TB drive?

  • edit: nvm - cashback has expired.

  • $25 per TB is the new benchmark.

  • I'm looking for something to plug into a USB port on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ - do you reckon the Pi will power this? Cheers.

    • To answer my own question I'm going to guess yes, 1.2A across all the USB ports is avaiable, I think a single USB3 device can draw 900mA, but this seems to also be USB2 compatible so I guess it draws 500mA or less..

      But I'm guessing.

  • Ordered one :)
