Done. Is the deal a bad one or are you just voting on the title content?
What's the deal exactly? What's the point of free shipping when there are no real bargains there?
That deal was for a single can of V with $11 shipping - a stupid post but hardly proof of your point.
Having a look at their prices generally, they are pretty good (cheaper than normal supermarket prices, sometimes on par with sale prices, sometimes higher - just be selective). Free shipping means you don't have to buy in bulk to spread out the postage cost. And you get it delivered to your door, which for someone like me (with a broken ankle currently) and I'm sure many others (for whatever reasons), this is very convenient ;-)
im guessing you watched a current affair:p
4 packs of white tim tams for $2.41
(4 pack) x 13 = 52 packs for $31.33 (to take advantage of free shipping).
I'm hungry.
i can only see tim tams at $2 per pack which isn't that special. the site is also incredibly slow. it sucks.
can save more at Coles or woolies if we buy using weekly offers
I tend to agree with Victorious's second comment above. I am also struggling to find any real bargains. Coles/Woolies also give you the option of shopping online and with the amount of money you save with them, it may work out cheaper than getting free delivery.
the range of products is very limited
And don't forget, there is a limit of 10 items per product. So if they would have a good deal or two - all you can buy is 10 items of the deal. On the other hand, if you only want 10 items and you somehow manage to find a good deal, their usual $11 shipping will kill the value.
I think they totally lost the concept of bargaining.
Everything I would usually buy isn't all that cheap.
Just beware the expiry date of foods.
It may sell the same products as leading supermarkets, but it may also be the supermarket clearance centre.
I asked a support op on live chat about the expiration dates for their products and the guy started going on about some parallel import products. He didn't go far into details and seemed to be ignoring my initial question which I asked a few more times, receiving dud replies before he said something like "It looks like your away from the computer so I am going to close this chat now" when I only took a few moments to write each reply and he took 2-3 minutes for each of his replies.
Haha that's hilarious, what great customer service. I agree with others that their prices aren't fantastic (you can save more as long as you stick to Coles and Woolies catalogue items), especially with $11 shipping. Without the $11 it can make it worthwhile for those of us who can't get to the shops easily, as far as I'm aware specials aren't available online for Woolies and Coles?
You have to spend over $30 to get this - disclose full info in title!
