  +1 for thoroughness. All Casio watches without hands (i.e digital only) have plastic cases, and most people don't realize this. A lot of the listings lie, for example this very one says "Stainless steel case", when it's only the battery cover that is stainless steel. If the battery cover is held on by four screws, it's a plastic case.

    Not true, there's a couple of 5000-series all steel case Casio digitals and the Ediface 1000 that has a steel case w/ leather(?) band

            @Russ: that just means it isn't a screwback case, not that it's not metal. If you insist on that then there's still the B5000 (Which I think is the only casio digi with metal casing, bracelet AND screw down caseback) ;)

              A bit expensive though at nearly a thousand dollars!

              I gave up looking at Casio digitals about five years ago, when I couldn't find a solid metal one. From the dates on the two you listed, it looks like my belief was correct at that time.
