Not really free when you got to pay for shipping…

Plus 9 bags for $4.50 is pretty expensive.. Even that expensive "most ethical" under the sun Pukka tea is only $6 for 20 packets.

Yeah, I know it's not the same thing, but 100 tea bags are $1.90 at Coles.

Hmm, this is not a bargain. Should be 9 tea bags for 4.95 free shipping.

  • $4.50 delivery fee to buy promotion samples is a bit rich. Suck up the costs if you want to build your brand.

  • So the business model is basically buy 9 different types of tea bag. Lets say 100 of each at $2, so $18 up front.
You now have 100 packs to sell at 18 cents per pack. Advertise as they are free with $4.50 postage.
Post in an envelope for $1, probably is a sealed bag (2c). So each pack costs $1.20.
So for each 'Free' pack the OP makes $3.30.

    • Perhaps the 9 tea bags are packaged in a cardboard box with interior padding and sent via parcel post with tracking, like Amazon?

  • postage stamp $2 should cover cost.

    • But but how about OP's profit…… Oh wait

  • Put it in an envelope and charge $1 instead.

  • I think some comments are unkind.
Surely you wouldn't want your Lemongrass Ginger loose leaf to be crushed; that is why these must be packed by hand in super-padded packaging that costs $4.50
