I should have checked Kmart before going for the amazon Australia deal
This set is terrible!!! The blocks are a weird length so that when you stack them each row doesn't fit flush with the row below it. So depending on the direction of the blocks they stick out longer!! So glad I decided to check before purchasing.
I don't find the current Jenga blocks that great anymore either. I had an old set that came in a cylindrical thick cardboard box and the blocks were cut pretty evenly. I've bought 2 sets in the current rectangular box and the pieces aren't cut very even! Makes a difference if you are playing with extra hard rules in place, like only taking pieces from the outer 2 sides and have to work up from the bottom row. The hardest version we have played being you must take all blocks from the bottom row. So that last piece has to be hit out super hard and fast so the tower just drops straight down.
I have this set and it's fine.
$5 for something you'll play once or twice a year.
The big W set at $10 is much better than the Kmart one.

@Sammyboy: Legend! For $10 does the job a few times a year! Thanks
Used this set at a Grill'd location and… yeah, it's not great. Real Jenga set is much better.
I have the Jumbling Tower product.
For $5 it's really good, but inferior to a genuine Jenga set.
You guys are Jenga connoisseurs
