    I signed up with EB after the cracking A8F deal last year but haven't seen any email come through. Will post code if I get one, I ended up going with the LG so don't need the sony but this is a cracking price for the A9F particularly when the reviews of the 2019 Sony models haven't been blowing anyone away

    Small note on the 55" X70F LED 4K, considering the price I did some review digging.

    It appears to have a manufacturing defect on the top edge where some of them have some pretty serious light bleed. No idea what the percentage it is, could be very marginal but you maybe looking at some returns hassle.

    Put me off at least.

      If better up-scaling for poor quality sources like for our FTA channels, or Foxtel non HD channels, or the better motion for Sport like AFL etc matter to you then yes it is better.

      You are also getting the speakers behind the screen with this model.

      For sure. I was considering between the Samsung QLED, LG and Sony OLED, and after seeing how they perform in-store, I went with the Sony (paid $4100ish for the 65" when JB had it on sale). It upscales everything beautifully with deeper blacks and colours and far less motion blur than other brands. What really distances it from the competition is the audio - the acoustic screen is amazing. You definitely won't need a soundbar for it!

      The only negative of it is it has no stand. It actually sits/rests on the screen itself which is slightly angled. Not a deal breaker for me, but may be for some.

          Yes I have one mounted on the wall, just need a normal bracket … It sits off the wall like it's floating. It really is an awesome tv.
