    yeah but why not have a online sign up?? muffin break didn't have anything to sign up last week when I went..

      You have to go in store to get your coffee anyway, so what does it matter? And you don't sign up anyway, you pick up a (plastic) card and then register it.
      The promo might not have been running last week.

    Is this just the card that gets stamped when you buy coffees? If so I've had this for ages and never received any "member only" benefits. Neither have I been offered the option to join anything online. As far as I knew these were just like most places' regular coffee loyalty cards (though normally you have to buy 10 coffees to get one free, here its only 5)

    yeah well I think they need to make it so people can sign up online and get the card sent to them. much easier that way.

    Not that I'm planning on doing this but if you get a free coffee when you register your card online, what's stopping you from going in everyday and asking for a card, registering it under different email addresses each time (we're ozbargainers, don't we all have at least 10 email accounts each? :)… you get my gist right?

      their coffee can be a bit dodgy. some days its pretty good, others it taste like dishwater. its a bit hit and miss for me but I stop in there once a week on my way to uni because I like the muffin and coffee in morning.

      and buy 5 get 1 free is pretty good, of course subject to what their normal prices are (which i don't know ;)

      It's free so it's a bargain. The fact it's only "buy 5" rather than "buy 10" makes it even better.

        my local coffee shop is buy 6, get one free…

        large ones are $3 and you get a free large one too… and the coffee is pretty damn good…

      True they are all buy x get x free but some are better value than others
      Dome is buy 10 get one free,
      GJ buy 10 get a free reg,
      MuzzBuzz Buy 10 get $4.50 value free, buy 20 get $5.50 free, buy 30 get $6.50 free
      Michels Patisserie buy 7 get the next free
      Muffin Break is best assuming original purchase price is on par with others

    lol at all the people that want the card posted to them because they are totally not going in to the store to get coffee and would also rather wait for the post to arrive to start collecting coffee buys.

    Hmm, not a deal for me.

    1. Its a dup as pointed out above.
    2. My local coffee shop:
      a) has 6th coffee free,
      b) allows 6th one to be redeemed as large even if the other 5 were small,
      c) uses awesome beans, and
      d) barista always does a perfect extraction.

    A plus for muffin break however is the cheap multi muffin deals they have around close.

    This isn't buy 5 get 1 free - it's buy 4 get 1 free bc it's every FIFTH coffee free. I'm not a coffee drinker so makes no difference to me…
