any idea if you can do that game pass upgrade on the web without a console as i doubt that offers going to last into July?
Yeah you can do it on the Xbox website (that’s how I did it).
I take it you intend to use the $1.00 upgrade option before you get your Xbox. The deal may expire before then so it might be a good idea.
What is the best way to stack on stuff for Xbox Game Pass for PC only.. I do not have a console so am just looking for whatever the PC equivalent needs (I don't think Ultimate is a thing for PC but I have no clue total Xbox noob here who just started an Xbox Game Pass for PC trial for $1 to try it out and maybe a few months until I can figure out a super cheap way to stack months of credit).

You can use VPN and purchase from other regions such as Argentina and Brasil. There are also online option that sell gift cards for other regions. You just change regions on your console to purchase. First you need to apply the gift card credit to your Microsoft account.
Not sure on the cheapest but I did read that 12 months Xbox live will be $64 at Big W later this week. Remember to take advantage of the new $1 upgrade to ultimate (which is Xbox live + games pass + games pass for pc). You can stack up to 3 years worth and then convert to Ultimate for $1.
