I'm new to the forum and to be honest new to TV shopping at this time of the year. I'm looking to buy a 65" TV for under $2,000 (will settle for 55" if I have to) but I've heard so much about great TV deals during EOFY sales.
For the more experienced ozbargainers out there, do you expect there will be better sales still to come? Any specific TVs anyone is keeping an eye on for a price drop? Or any available now that you would consider as good as it's going to get?

Fair enough, I guess I'm just trying to get a gauge of the timing of the best deals historically.
Search the model of the TV you are after on the Ozbargain search forum - this will give you some idea as to what other prices have been available in the past.

The global TV market revolves more around the March/April time frame as that's when TV makers usually release new models each year. So a lot of stock-take type bargains happen around then. Not to say there wont be an epic deal in the next week or so but make sure you keep your eyes on the prize anywhere from Feb to April each year for TVs.
I am also in same boat and looking for 55 inch. Checked hisense in jbhifi and the. Colours are not great. Waiting for something on Sony or Samsung ru8000.
I picked up a 65 inch Hisense for less than 1k. Keep browsing this site. No one knows when the sales will be - but generally this is a good time to buy.
