Noticed a price drop for this one if anyone was looking for a copy, lowest price on Amazon and probably the cheapest it has been from any retailers (currently JB/Big W priced at $69). I would buy it but I cupboard of shame is filled to the brim…

  Good game. Gets repetitive as this series typically does (there’s only so many “shoot these down/bomb these” missions you can do), but it does look pretty incredible and is worth the $57 imo.

    How complicated are the mechanics? Is it start engine and go or have to click certain buttons on the gauges to take off etc?

      Its an arcadey shooter, not Microsoft Flight Simulator. That said there is certainly depth and strategy to it.

      Mostly wait till missiles lock up, click click click and fly away… hardly any dog-fight with machine gun.

        i think the series has gone a bit downhill since the release of Assault Horizon, 6 and the psp releases were really good.

      Nah not complicated, wish it was a bit more so! As someone mentioned, it’s fly and shoot etc, pretty basic stuff.

    Limited to 3 missions, but apparently incredible (as long as you don't get motion sickness).
