I want to start purchasing products off Taobao, T-mall and Alixpress but I have only used transaction methods such as Paypal and Debit MasterCard. I have never applied for any formal credit cards or any credit services at that, so what should I been looking for to start buying stuff off these sites?
I understand the need to considered currency conversion rate fees, refund and fraudulent security.

Aliexpress and other Alibaba services use Alipay which is the equivalent of paypal (customer support always sides with the customer not matter how ridiculous). Alibaba is publicly traded and nets a annual revenue around 60bln USD. They won't have bad security since they're big into cloud computing (competing with AWS in Asia) or want to scam a few hundred dollars.
I hope you can read Chinese or have a huge trust in google translate to use Taobao or t-mall.
You can use your regular eftpos card (assuming it is a visa debit, like they seem to give out nowdays).
It's really not hard, I regularly buy ligntning cables from Ali Exppress. Sometimes my regular visa card does not work (just a random event), so I change the number to my visa debit eftpos card and it works fine. It's not an issue.
Free delivery can take up to 2 months. But it is free so that is why.
