Umm..yes. Still a decent price for 3 quality pans with a lifetime guarantee
buying. new pans because a old ones are scratched, warped, not induction capable, or have lost non stick because you use spray oil on them i can understand.
throwing out pans because the word teflon appears is a bit dramatic.
the term teflon and non stick are tricky ones. teflon is a brand name from dupont.
many non stick surfaces are still based on similar molecular structure hence max temp they can work to.
dupont patents expire long ago, hence non stick on almost everything including cheap price points.
Its not the Teflon, it's what Teflon is made with (CFOA and C8).
Our family moved away from from teflon coated pans quite awhile ago realising that it peels over time and the bits come off. We currently use Korean stoneware pans and find them very good value for money. They don't peel, have very good non-stick properties, last for quite awhile and are quite cheap and easily available from your local Korean general store
