[Tesla Model 3] Has Anyone Managed to Get an Insurance Quote for One Yet?

Im looking to put a deposit down for a model 3 next month.
Has anyone received a quote for one they have ordered? Would love to know the general cost, so I can compare to any quotes i may receive.

Cheers

I'd be getting a quote BEFORE paying a deposit

There's far too many variables to get an accurate idea based upon what someone else was quoted. Just do some online quotes using fake details. Just keep your age, post code and driving record the same and you'll get a much better idea.

whilst i agree, you cannot do this as the car is not available for these type of quotes on any insurance websites and therefore you will have to call. Hence the question to just grasp a general cost

Seems to me that unless you are prepared to make a phone call then the issue is closed

What rating is the automated driver?

    • You mean the inflatable on from Men In Black??

      Technically, he's never made a claim…

I would guess it wouldn't be cheap.

  • I had a huge difference in quotes between the online Suncorp quote and the by phone quote. By phone it's almost half the price.
Only problem is excess can't go lower than $1250 for some reason, and they value the car at minimum $74500 when I'm only paying $67000
GIO and AAMI belong to the Suncorp group so quotes are all similar.

  • Should have plenty of answers? Almost 1/3 ozb has a Tesla based on upvotes, then 1/3 with a toyota, other brands make up the remainder 1/3, including high yield bimmer, amg mercs and exotic golf rs that would outrun ferraris. Yet to see claim of ownership on pagani, buggati and the like - prob the ocau crowd.
