I need the least-likely-to-start-a-fire heater for my father whose memory is not what it once was.
Personally I use the energy-efficient oil heaters with the columns/fins and would assume that one or two of those would suit him best as;
They have a built-in thermostat that cuts the heat over a certain temp.
Many have timers in them now also.
There's no scorching hot tubes or anything that seems likely to ignite stuff if tipped over/misused.
Quality and safety are paramount. I have an older DeLonghi (Italian brand) that has always served me well and was thinking of getting one of the newer models at Bunnings.
Anyone with Old Person XP in this situation have any advice?
Thanks in advance.
