Laptop eBay Scam, advice?

Hey everyone,

Would love to know your opinions on if I should get ready to go through eBay or PayPal for refunding process? Did this spontaneous and stupid purchase knowing it was potential scam - seller was selling two laptops apparently in seperate postings, someone brought one and I brought the other obviously.. see links below.

seller marked as “Sent” later that night (dodge), seller also has had account since 2003 but stopped purchases in 2017 (super dodge).
I’m more concerned about the “signage on delivery” and it may sound like a stupid thought/question but have been reading a lot of other eBay “stories” mentioning not to sign on delivery if it doesn’t look right - Q: if I sign for it, is this going to ruin my chances of getting refunded?
Thanks for any help guys, sorry for the N00b Questions.

Not idea, but if you do end up opening it, I'd at the very least record yourself doing it.

Market as "Sent" happens when the seller processes a transaction on his eBay account - does not mean an item has been physically sent. So having marked as sent late at night means nothing really.
Requesting a signature on delivery is merely the seller trying to protect themselves from unscrupulous buyers who claim non-receipt, trying to scam the system.
